ASU Canvas Course Builder
EdPlus's own Canvas plugin: 28 skills for building WCAG-compliant Canvas courses to ASU instructional design standards. A concierge routes you to the right tool, so you can just describe what you need. Covers needs analysis, course building, three-tier assessment calibration, faculty mockups, image search and AI generation, custom visuals, interactive activities, and NotebookLM media. Audits run a deterministic 42-check engine across accessibility, alignment, and QA. Every edit lands in a staging preview with backup and rollback before anything reaches Canvas. Version 7.82.0. You'll need a Canvas access token from canvas.asu.edu the first time.
How to use this plugin
Setup differs by platform, so pick where you want to run it.
This is an EdPlus-built plugin, so there's no marketplace to add by hand. It's already published to ASU's enterprise marketplace, so you install it straight from inside Claude.
- 1
Make sure you're signed in to Claude on your ASU Enterprise account, not a personal one. The enterprise marketplace only appears on the ASU workspace.
- 2
Open Plugins, then click Browse.
- 3
Switch to the Enterprise marketplace rather than the public catalog.
- 4
Find ASU Canvas Course Builder and click Install.
- 5
Run
/helpto see the commands it added, or just describe what you need; the plugin routes you to the right skill on its own. - 6
Not seeing the Enterprise marketplace? Update the Claude desktop app first, it changes often. If it's still missing, your account may not be on the Enterprise plan yet, so check the Claude tool page for how to get access.
